Class Details

Join Amber Cranmore as she walks you through making the Oxbow Tote Bag – a stylish, functional bag perfect for everyday use! Intermediate level.

  • Class Fee: $50 (paid at registration)

  • Supplies: Approx. $115 (pattern, fabrics, hardware, and interfacing)

  • No kit for this project, completely personalize your design! Plan for about 30 minutes of shopping to make all of your fabric and hardware decisions.

  • Preparation:

    • If you attend the optional cutting session on October 3rd at 3:00 pm, Amber will help you cut out all your pieces before class.

    • If you do not attend the cutting session, please arrive on October 4th with all fabric cut and ready.

What You’ll Learn

  • Bag construction basics

  • Working with interfacing and hardware

  • Professional finishing techniques for totes

What to Bring

  • Your sewing machine in good working order

  • All required fabrics and supplies (Supplies listed on Pattern)

  • Basic sewing notions (thread, pins, scissors, rotary cutter, etc.)

  • Bring a sack lunch or plan to order in.
